Amon Amarth- Brought their Heathen army to Phoenix AZ

Amon Amarth invaded the Arizona Financial theater with supporting acts Cattle Decapitation, Obituary, and Carcass.

If you’ve never experienced Amon Amarth live, you’re definitely missing out on one of the greatest live acts out there. Their stage set up is massive! The drum riser was a giant. Vikings helmet with the eyes being two LED screens, on both sides of the stage there were these two oversized Norse god statues. The stage design was created by the Gallagher team and all of the designs you see were hand carved and hand painted along with other technology used to create them. The amount of detail that went into their stage set-up is astonishing! The theatrics that go into every show only adds another high level of entertainment. You’ll experience Loki the Norse god up close and in person. Vikings battle it out with swords and shields in hand. Of course, one of the highlights of the night was Johan wielding Thor’s hammer! During ‘Put your back into the Oar’, it is most famous for making the crowd sit down on the floor and row like they are in a Viking war ship!

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles CA and moved to Phoenix AZ in early 2020. Growing up, I was surrounded by musicians and artists who influenced my life. I've always felt a pull towards photography and finally have the opportunity to invest in my passion. I originally started out with street photography when I was a teenager. Then a good friend of mine asked me if I could take photos of his band and now I'm doing what I love, concert photography!
