Industrial metal stalwarts Combichrist stormed through Phoenix last week, bringing their intense, raucous, music to the desert. Touring in support of their highly anticipated forthcoming album, CMBCRST, Andy LaPlegua and crew demonstrated that they still are on the forefront of the ever evolving metal scene. Soaring and gritty guitars intermixed with electronic beats to pummel everyone packed shoulder-to-shoulder in Rebel Lounge while Andy stalked the stage with a confidence only afforded to those who know they are at the top of their game. Standout songs from the set include “Compliance”, “Never Surrender” and “Maggots at the Party”. CMBCRST will be out May 17th.
