Crowbar Unleash Chaos at a Sold-Out Van Buren in Phoenix
October 19th, 2026
There are heavy shows, and then there are Crowbar shows. On October 12, 2026, The Van Buren in Phoenix was packed to capacity for a night of crushing riffs, raw intensity, and absolute madness. It was one of the craziest Crowbar performances I’ve ever witnessed.Crowbar’s signature blend of sludgy heaviness and emotionally charged riffs hit hard, setting the tone for a night that never let up.
The sold-out crowd matched that intensity, with crowd surfers flying overhead and people launching over the barricade. It was pure mayhem. The kind of show that reminds you why nothing compares to experiencing heavy music live. Beyond the crushing sound, the energy in the room made this one special. The connection between Crowbar and the fans was undeniable, turning an already massive performance into an unforgettable night for Phoenix metalheads.
A huge shout out to The Van Buren crew, for keeping everyone safe amid the chaos. With surfers coming over the barricade and bodies flying in every direction, the security team and venue staff deserve serious credit for handling the madness and looking out for everyone. This was more than another concert. It was a sold out night of sludge metal insanity, delivered by a legendary band and a Phoenix crowd ready to go all in.I’ve seen Crowbar before, but this one hit differently. Crowbar brought the heaviness, Phoenix brought the chaos, and The Van Buren crew helped make it a night to remember. If you get the chance to see Crowbar live, don’t miss it, and just keep your eyes open at the barricade.
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles CA and moved to Phoenix AZ in early 2020. Growing up, I was surrounded by musicians and artists who influenced my life. I've always felt a pull towards photography and finally have the opportunity to invest in my passion. I originally started out with street photography when I was a teenager. Then a good friend of mine asked me if I could take photos of his band and now I'm doing what I love, concert photography!
