Mac Sabbath~Supersized the Nile Theater.

Mac Sabbath decided to invade Mesa, AZ on a Sunday night. Since this was my first time seeing them live, I thought the supergroup wanted to fill our little black hearts with crispy fries and juicy cheeseburgers, or was there a different agenda? I quickly learned that was not the case. The ring leader, Ronald Osbourne, is on a mission to bring down the fast food industry, warning us of the dangers within the industry. Destroying everyday people from the inside, these fast food giants supplying us with all the processed foods! Mac Sabbat’s strong legion of fans are ready to take back control from the mind-controlling tyrants.

It was just after 9:30 when Mac Sabbath hit the stage and the Nile was packed from end to end. It was amazing to see their audience have grown and a younger generation is now hooked on their music.  As their banner was dropped by their faithful burger servers, Mac Sabbath broke into ‘Organic Funeral‘.  Ronald stumbled onto the stage in his signature straight jacket look with that crazed look in his eyes. The cat burglar was twirling his drum sticks all while throwing his arms in the air, MacCheese was throwing out the cheesiest riffs, while Grimalice was keeping the rhythm juicy and fresh. As Ronald made his way to the center of the stage, he had a grill placed right in front of him cooking some all-natural and organic burger patties. Once he broke free of the straight jacket, he grabbed a PBR and poured a little into a red bucket. With a MDC sticker on it, I loved the nod to millions of dead cops. Ronald grabbed the bucket and started frantically running back and forth on the stage teasing everyone that he was going to throw the beer at everyone. He finally stopped and held the bucket in the air and unleashed the confetti into the crowd! Much to my surprise, no PBR was wasted that night.

I can honestly say this was some of the most fun I’ve had at a concert in a long time. It was great to see Arizona show up for this show and pack the house. Mac Sabbath is a cheesy good time grilling up your favorite hits!

Side note, I stopped at a local McDonald’s and I just so happened to run into Ronald Osbourne. He asked if I was ready to make all of the cheeseburgers into a pyramid and blow them up with dynamite! I of course, said yes without hesitation.

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles CA and moved to Phoenix AZ in early 2020. Growing up, I was surrounded by musicians and artists who influenced my life. I've always felt a pull towards photography and finally have the opportunity to invest in my passion. I originally started out with street photography when I was a teenager. Then a good friend of mine asked me if I could take photos of his band and now I'm doing what I love, concert photography!
