Peaches – Fuck ice, Queer & trans rights matter!

The “No Lube So Rude” tour rolled into Phoenix, AZ, at Walter Studios. This was definitely a “Buy the ticket, take the ride”- ‘Hunter S Thompson’ situation.

PIXEL GRIP

Opening the event Pixel Grip took the stage with their unique dark wave sound, creating an ideal atmosphere to invigorate the dance floor and heighten the excitement among the crowd. Lead vocalist Rita mesmerized the audience by exploring the more shadowy facets of human nature, igniting a deep-seated yearning that resides within each of us.

PEACHES

As the venue began to fill up and we approached 9 pm, it was finally time for the one and only PEACHES. One of the main reasons we love Peaches is her unapologetic spirit. She truly embodies a “who gives a damn” attitude. As queers, goths, and everyone in between united, there was one message we could all rally behind: POP THAT PUSSY while shouting FUCK ICE, BE GAY FREE PALESTINE, TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS! In a world overflowing with chaos, we cannot ignore the declining political climate that seems to worsen each day. Escaping it for a few hours was exactly what the Phoenix scene needed. Peaches did exactly that and brought the motherfucking ruckus, while aggressively flicking her dick for over an hour and a half. Her incredible talent and long-lasting career speaks volumes. Her live performance is an electrifying journey that evokes the spirit of the film ‘Doom Generation.’ And something a long the lines of an outrageous and campy narrative, that’s directed by the iconic John Waters. From a complete dicks ensemble to furry delights and oversized clits, the surprises just keep coming. One thing remains clear: Peaches’ voice continues to shine, never missing a note. Her performance brims with unforeseen turns and an electrifying energy that enthralls the audience, ensuring a captivating experience from beginning to end.

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles CA and moved to Phoenix AZ in early 2020. Growing up, I was surrounded by musicians and artists who influenced my life. I've always felt a pull towards photography and finally have the opportunity to invest in my passion. I originally started out with street photography when I was a teenager. Then a good friend of mine asked me if I could take photos of his band and now I'm doing what I love, concert photography!
