Aesthetic Perfection (Tucson AZ)

It was Goth night at The Surly wench pub hosted by Love Killz and Fineline Revisited. They had a special surprise for everyone that night. It was non other than Aesthetic Perfection!

Starting their career in the early 2000’s this aggrotech band has slithered it’s way through the industrial music scene gaining notoriety with their signature dark/techno sound. Daniel Graves has worked endlessly on building a machine with over a dozen full length albums. Aesthetic Perfection’s recent re-rlease of ‘A Violent Emotion’ with everything being re-mastered. Their new single ‘Into the Void’ was released on September 13th a day before the they played The Surly Wench pub. Unlike most bands in the aggrotech/ industrial scene AP’s newest release is a energetic one that doesn’t stray away from that original industrial sound.

The buzz was real with AP playing goth night at The Surly Wench pub. I overheard numerous people say they haven’t seen this many people at goth night in a while. I also saw a good amount of people who drove down from Phoenix just to be at this show. Dj stubbie opened up the night with AP hitting the stage at 10 pm. Daniel Graves is one of those lead singers you don’t want to take your eyes off of. His energy is off the charts and he makes his performances personal with his fans. AP is one of those bands that makes you dance, your body literally has no choice. Graves had everyone jumping, and dancing the night away. It was one of those shows where all your problems disappeared and you were able to just live in that moment of time. The band itself is as tight as ever. Everything was locked and loaded and Surly Wench pub turned into one big sweat fest.

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles CA and moved to Phoenix AZ in early 2020. Growing up, I was surrounded by musicians and artists who influenced my life. I've always felt a pull towards photography and finally have the opportunity to invest in my passion. I originally started out with street photography when I was a teenager. Then a good friend of mine asked me if I could take photos of his band and now I'm doing what I love, concert photography!
