Growing up in Pittsburgh in the 1980s-1990s, no one was more than a stone throws away from some station playing singles by the local kids done well Rusted Root. Singer Michael Glabicki and the ever rotating members of Rusted Root lived in Baldwin Boro and played everything from small dives to local arts festivals and eventually to Three Rivers Stadium where they opened for The Grateful Dead in July 1995. Rusted Root did not disappoint as they rocked through their hits, songs from my high school memories and experiences, and a few covers as well including Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minutes”. By the time they were sending us all on our way with an encore of their most famous song, the wait to see them again into adulthood was all worth it. Set List:
