Amigo The Devil at The Van Buren on 6/12

Playing direct support for Frank Turner on his current “Undefeated” tour, Amigo The Devil helped packed the The Van Buren ’til the walls were bursting. Rounding out a bill that included The Bridge City Sinners, Amigo played a set list jammed with crowd favorites from older albums (“Hell and You”, a more-raucous-than-usual “Murder at the Bingo Hall”, and “Cocaine and Able”), as well as songs off his recently released album “Yours Until The War is Over” (“Once Upon A Time at a Texaco”, “It’s All Gone”). Amigo even unveiled an insanely well received new song written while on the tour to ensure all his merch was tied into song, “My Body Is Dive Bar”. The crowd screamed, sang, and cried along with every song, and even those unfamiliar with Amigo’s brand of murder-folk were converts by the end of his set. Amigo the Devil is currently on tour through the end of June.
